The Legend of Zelda

    For fans of The Legend of Zelda franchise, we have been waiting for the much anticipated sequel to the 2017 The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. The game won game of the year in 2017 and a sequel was announced in June of 2019. It has been 3 years now and the game was announced to be released in Spring of 2023 fairly recently. Some gaming companies have a bad record of announcing things way too early. We as fans end up waiting for too long and the hype doesn't always pay off. Games like Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts 3 were in development hell for way too long and ended up being mediocre at best. I would much rather have a game announced and released within a 2 year time frame with updates and trailers along the way to build interest and excitement. Any fans of The Legend of Zelda? If so which game is your favorite and why?

    Legend of Zelda, haven't heard that game title for years!

    I'm referring to the original game on the Nintendo NES. I never got into it but know that is was extremely popular :-)

    The last time I played Legends of Zelda was on my old Gameboy years ago haha. I'm sure the animation will look a lot better than it did years ago.

    As a kid, I spent many hours playing Legend of Zelda.

    It's still a classic.

    I have watched legend of zelda streams on twitch and it looks like a fun game, but I don't think it is a the genre that I prefer.

    Legend of Zelda sounds interesting. I hope the long wait and anticipation is well worth it, when the sequel is finally release.

    Breath of the Wild is my favorite, with spirit tracks being my 2nd favorite because trains were so cool to me as a kid for some reason? and BotW, I just love open world games.
