I took this course as it was listed as an optional class I could take towards my degree plan. I never had any formal digital literacy training and wanted to ensure that I understand the fundamentals. I have learned many new concepts and have obtained new skills by taking this course and I am excited to attempt to acquire certifications and become a certified Microsoft Office Specialist.
What are my proudest moments?
I would say that I have not had a proud moment thus far. When I complete IS101 with the highest grade I am able to achieve and have obtained as many MOS certifications as I can, I can say that I am proud. Just like the professor said before, until we are done with everything can we worry about our grade. I cannot be proud of something I have not followed through until the end. Victory is after the finish line and not before.
Very glad you chose to stay in this course despite having the option to substitute it with another course on your degree sheet :-)

I like the way you do business. I also think the fight ain't over till the bell rings, but you gotta find pride in small wins. That's what keeps the air in your lungs to keep pushing.

ReplyDeleteHaving not much to boast about in terms of digital literacy coming in, this course has definitely helped make up ground, and shore up my foundations, no question.
I did not even realize my lack of digital literacy before this course. I am a believer of celebrating the small wins, they boost my energy and drive to continue working hard to reach my goal.
